As we're all aware, summer is HERE! its common to strive to look your best (bodywise) for the summer since we involve ourselves in outdoor activities like the pool… which requires a swimsuit!
I have a few pointers that will help anyone (actually, i said just for the ladies, but men can use these pointers, too) i put them in order of importance and they are the SAME tips i use to get competition ready!!!
1)start by HYDRATING yourself. if you havent read the article on how important water is, i propose you do so. its short and to the point.
2)pack food wherever you go! dont get stuck out at the pool with the kids with nothing but pool snacks like dorito's and animal crackers. Choose protein filled snacks that will help you feel satiated. If you're going to make healthier choices for you, why not for your kids as well! Start by cutting out the refined carbohydrates. 80% of your results will come from DIET alone!
3)get MOTIVATED!!! if you arent active already… get active! if you arent on a 'routine' or exercise program, get on one! This is easy to do… these forums will help you if you have questions about workouts/nutrition so use them.
Give yourself adequate time to see results. Try not to get frustrated if you dont see results the first week you start. if you have a vacation in 4 weeks, this is adequate time to see major results!
