Hi!Smile

Like most girls I have never thought much about resistence training. Yet, these last years I have heard so much about its advantages that I am now more open to it. The thing is that, being something completely new I don´t know how hard should I push myself. A few years ago I went to a gym and the monitor insisted on me using more weight to do curls up… yet, I felt my muscles were already burning and I feared I could harm myself. Now I think maybe I didn´t push myself high enough, or that I was too tired from the intense cardio to do a proper weights workout.

How does one know if he is just making an extra effort or going too far?

Thanks.
