This is my standard smoothie for weight loss. Although the fruit may change from time to time, this makes up a good core smoothie recipe.
- Blueberries .5 cup
- Strawberries .5 cup
- 1 Cup loosely packed spinach
- 1 Scoop of Dream Protein Vanilla
- 1 Tablespoon Balance Oil
- 1/4 Cup of coconut flakes
- 1 Teaspoon Spirulina
Place all of the ingredients, except the whey protein, into a blender and add water or unsweetened iced green tea to thin it out. Then blend until smooth.
Next add the whey protein and pulse it until it’s smooth. I recommend adding the whey last because if you add it too early, it causes the smoothie to become too airy. By adding it last, you can control how fluffy you want your smoothie to be.
